Finally I've arrived in Huddersfield UK. The trip was not the greatest. Everything went ok at first. We drove down to Grandprairie on Boxing Day and took off from the airport for Calgary. That wasn't too bad if a little noisy. We arrived in Calgary at about 4:00 pm slightly ahead of schedule but had to wait hours as the second flight to Heathrow was late. Eventually we boarded 2hrs late and took off. The flight proved unaventful i watched a few movies got little sleep and as could be expected the food woudn't have won any awards. At about 11-11:30 we arrived over Heathrow where we experienced some turbulence and were stuck in a holding pattern for 15 minutes so we could land. After landing we headed through customs or "Boarder control" and took a shuttle bus to get our rental car. Unforyunately more waiting was in store as it turned out that our car had been taken since we were late and after about an hour we got our upgrade... a Land Rover. The rest of the day was spent driving in heavy traffic and stoppin a few times to get fuel or something to drink. Seven-thirtyish we arrived at my aunts in Huddersfield ate fish and chips and got a well needed goodnights rest. Now i'm just resting and will probably be visiting relative for the next few days, and not sure what historical sights we'll visit.
